Photo Journalist's Life

I am a business photographer. I believe that pictures capture a story. There is a story behind every photo. I capture architectural photography, events, portrait, candid and landscape. "I like the way the color come out," said Bowmen. It was a photo of one of the chandeliers in Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas. There are pictures of portraits that help tell a story. The models taken are sometimes candid. “It brings out the personality,” said Sampsel. The moments are the best times I take photographs because those are the hardest to find. I am a spontaneous photographer that involves getting some chemistry to bring out the person. Events are times where I capture what it is meaning something to the reader. I choose to take photos where things seem to stick out and reduce them to greater detail. I like to experiment with my photo making them look off wall. Most of my work are architectural where I put emphasis on the structures to make them pop out. I like the live parts of the party. I crave action. “The fire looks clean and the shadow makes it stand out,” said Markmann. It was a photo of a Renaissance woman swinging fire on chains around her. Blurred action help keep me moving and taking pictures no matter how they come out. I know in the end they are going to be gorgeous after I fix them and manipulate them. There are times when I just go out and capture landscapes. I like the old Nevada. I grew up all my life in this city of Las Vegas. The outdoors have so much to offer so I like to give that to those who have not experienced that yet. Macro shots are most endeared when I go out doors. I like to capture nature at its closest. The more personal the more intriguing.
