Customer Relation

The power of the “word of mouth” on the internet has influenced us both positive and negatively. The brand must be protected with the same way. It must have a place where people are talking about it freely without having a third party intervening and making it look bad. So I want that safe place within a place that is built through my brand where people can talk about our product freely without having someone feed it to a new customer. New customers must find customers who feel good about our product at least,
"because 70 percent trust the opinions of strangers”
1 (Martinez CRM Magazine). Also to build a forum where customers can go to find what they want answers to without having to look up one thousand pages to find that topic.
"A customer-centric company builds long-lasting relationshiops by focusing on what satisfies and retains valuable customers."
(Lamb MKTG p. 295) Another page would be for ideas that customers bring to the table. We want to be able to use those bad areas with good ideas and make it possible to implement other solutions to new problems or the up and coming problems that may occur. It is our goal to make our brand a better brand. It will be a place of community and safe thinking. We will have a blue-tooth that will notify our smart phone customers about any new things that is happening in their town, like any sales promotions, gifts, and events that will help make our brand a good brand. It is our biggest goal to bring new things to our customers and make it the best thing they have heard on earth. We want our customers to feel safe that our brand is more than just a brand, it is a place full of people who care and want the best for their customers.

Product

A product is not only its physical unit but also its package, warranty, after-sale service, brand name, company image, value, and many other factors.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 25).
The product is a glass bottle with air-tight lids to keep our ingredients in quality condition and in a wooden box to keep it contained. It will have clear color on the bottle and light pink color in the letters. The rhubarb is grown in Brazil all year round making it the best pick at the right season. The warranty is quality for one month and after it is thrown out. The brand name would be Lienkin Vodka.
“An integral part of any package is its label.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 141) The brand image would be a face leaf shape of the rhubarb plant with some spiral on both sides to show it is a very exclusive product. The value is very high in value that if anyone tries to make something similar would not be able to because of the type of climate we use to make them and certain ingredients to make it our product. Another product would be the vodka and a couple of martini glasses for the price of $99 to
“satisfy both the needs and wants of consumers,”
(Lamb MKTG p. 64)
It is also available through our website online because
“opening an e-commerce site on the internet pets a company in the international marketplace.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 60)
We will make experiments to gain knowledge of what is the best taste from the top vodka tasters in the world and another in the United States to give the best quality vodka there is.
”It should include all the people whose opinions, behavior, preferences, attitudes, and so on are of interest to the marketer.”
(Lamb MKGT p. 121). The taste of the strawberry rhubarb can be spiced or made with other spice ingredients to be able to expand our line of vodka. We will come up with a prototype to “decide on the product’s packaging, branding, labeling, and so forth.” (MKTG p. 149) Two times per year we will do our test marketing to
“assess new marketing strategies.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 150). We want our commercials to convey a place of warmth and comfort with that thinking of being at home.

Price

“Price is what the buyer must give up to obtain a product.”
( Lamb MKGT p. 6)
The price would start at $90 because it is a quality product and packaged in a nice container to keep it at its best. We will never use storage to keep our inventory stocked; therefore, we cut the cost of using a facility to store our product. We will be using electronic inventory to keep the store’s shelves stocked.
“If too many products are kept in inventory, costs increase.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 186) I will have special when each season comes up. I want to have different packages at a good price for each season. The prospect of the ingredients of the rhubarb are being of high quality is the reason why we give it a nice price. The season changes in the same location but we have two locations that will keep our product coming in year round. Even though strawberries are easy to grow, we plant our strawberries as well as rhubarb in the most organic soil possible and by not having any pesticides on them.
“To earn a profit, managers must choose a price that is not too high or too low.”
(Lamb MKGT P. 261) There are different types of strawberries we will pick from and they are from Chile and the others are from Europe to make the taste feel much finer or refined to its quality.

Distribution

“Place, or distribution, strategies are concerned with making products available when and where customer’s want them.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 25).
The product would be out in the liquor section of only Smith’s Grocery store, Albertson’s stores and liquor stores as third parties. It will be delivered in individual boxes it comes in delivery trucks with other liquor brands so that it is very accessible. The other distribution would be to have distribution from a business to keep our factories working.
“The goal of the business-to-business exchange is to simplify business purchases and make them more efficient.”
(Lamb MKGT p.90).
We will use perceptual mapping to attract certain people to distribute more of our products. We are using
“costumer demograhics, such as age, spending habits, and shopping patterns, to build a matrix that charts the best mix of clothes and accessories to stock more of each store.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 110). We want to make our product the very best for those who desire our product. It is our goal to make it for the influenced to be influenced by our brand. We strive to develop our customer relationship the top to promote more of our product line. Before our product runs out, we will do our taste testing sampling with our top tasters to keep the flow of product moving. We keep our inventory out of the storage to cut the cost of using extra space.
When distributing from customers ordering from online, we will have certain prices to accommodate the times and type of delivery is made. So worldwide, we will have a variety of pricing ranges to accommodate our customers and freight pricing.
“The cost of freight can greatly affect the total cost of a product.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 284)

Promotion

Buy the bottle and two martini gift set for the price of $99. We want our first products to be physical so that it is able to be communicated to the public in a satisfied way.
“Marketers often rely on tangible cues to communicate a service’s nature and quality.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 160) Our product scheduling will affect how we promote our product. Before our product runs out, we will do our taste testing sampling with our top tasters to keep the flow of product moving.

It would start the day it comes out in the stores so that the customers can make their purchase. Another product would be the vodka and a couple of martini glasses for the price of $99. Our customer’s are usually busy.
“Time-strapped consumers and those who live in rural or suburban areas are most likely to be direct-response shoppers online because they value the convenience and flexibility that direct marketing provides.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 200)
The company will contribute to the act of not driving under the influence to portray its good side. We want to inform our customers that they can drink and have fun and feel safe at the same time.
“Marketers use public relations not only to maintain a positive image but also to educate the public about the company’s goals.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 212) We want our advertising to be about the person opening the bottle in his city home but unveils into the cabin surrounding looking into the kitchen, dining room and living room all in one shot. The dining room is set up for one more person to come. He opens the bottle and then a knock on the door disrupts his concentration because the city life is wanting in. He opens the door to a woman with the long city-like hallway and then closes it with the cabin life still intact. All in one shot we display the message we want to come across.
“Message execution is the way an advertisement portrays its information.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 230) We want our product to be available online, so we implement a plan to give coupons to our customers as well as potential customers to get a deal on the vodka. They will be able to see it on Facebook and Myspace to catch their eye and give them a deal just by a click of a mouse.
“Marketers have discovered that online coupon distribution provides another vehicle for promoting their products.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 249-250)

Marketing Strategy

A marketing strategy is a plan that is built around a proposal and the product is in what they get with their product. It is a continual use of the first product by adding other products with it. It will be geared towards women in their mid-forties. They are people from the 80’s who rocked to the king of pop, Michael Jackson, played their first video games for leisure but have a good up-bringing want to celebrate with their families and friends, be able to benefit at the same time.

Situation Anaylysis

A situation analysis is where you find the strength of the company and the weakness and try to make something work out of them.

The strength is to give high quality product that is worth buying. Another strength is that it is easy to find in only a few places where they will be stocked for all the customers to purchase. The weakness is that is very expensive to buy. External opportunity and threat is to bring our product into more stores besides the grocery stores to make our product more accessible. Another threat is the glass bottle is dangerous but can be in a safe container to make it easy to transfer. Another strength is to keep our product recyclable.
“We focus on the world’s social problems and view them as opportunity to build profits and help the world at the same time.”
(Lamb MKTG p. 29). We recycle to make our brand valuable. It is good to make this place a better place.

Objective

Our objective is to spend
“13 percent of our sales revenue into developing new products”
(Lamb MKTG p. 18).
Our objective is to increase our sales by 20 percent by 2011 by making new ways to distribute our product.
Our objective is to help make our product safe by storing it in an enclosed container.
Our objective is to increase customer satisfaction at 20 percent by the within eight months.
Our objective is to have at least 50% of our products sold after the third day of its promotion.
Our objective is to have
“customer’s needs and expectations met”
(Lamb MKTG p. 7) to keep our product flowing.

Mission Statement

The ability to provide the best quality product that is satisfying to the customer.

Worth While Buy

I bought someone a great Christmas present by buying her a bed spread she would really like. It was a bed spread from a company that only sold products through their magazines. I usually go to the store and look at product that was physically there. It was a great buy because it was a high quality product that was great with a zen type of room. It was a quilt like textures to the cushions of the bed spread and had big squares of different colors on it. I thought that it would be very pleasing for her because she is one of my best friends. It came with two pillow shames and a cylinder red velvet color pillow I bought with it. I did not want to buy anything that was too common to buy like a music CD or a gift card so I bought something rare. I wanted rare to become the best gift ever from a friend. She liked decorating her room and making it look different so maybe she will use this for good. Gift exchange came up for three of us to give out our Christmas gifts. My other friend gave her small gifts as well she gave me small gifts. They were cool gifts. I was anticipating her to open it because it was physically the biggest gift I have ever given her. She looked very curious the whole time we waited to have her open it and seems as time went by she could tell it probably something for a room. So came the time for her to open it and she was surprised and loved the pillows that came with it. She talked of when she would put it on her bed and her pillows. I was glad and relieved that it was a worth-while buy for a best friend.

Ten Great Ideas to Host a Sex in the City 2 Party Premier!

There ten things to do to make a party out of the movie release of Sex in the City 2. Macy’s is doing a fashion show with “
models wearing looks from the movie. Models will be styled by Phoenix Fashion Week designers while DJ P-Body will work the turntables. All the styles will be available for purchase after. Ladies are invited to dress in their best "SATC" garb, and the best dressed partier will receive a $1,000 certificate for a skincare makeover at Paradise Valley Skin Klinic. The certificate can be used toward chemical peels, laser hair removal and other treatments.” Another idea is that “Biltmore Fashion Park is turning the concept of dinner and a movie into a buzz-worthy event. Guests can choose from a list of different restaurants that will be serving special three-course dinners, so you and your girlfriends can go to the sexy restaurant Christopher's Crush Lounge or the high-end Capital Grille. Earlier in the day, ticket holders can also shop at Saks Fifth Avenuesip Sak-tinis, listen to live music and get beauty touch-ups. Finally, the night caps off with the midnight screening of the film at the AMC Esplanade.” Third idea is to “get dolled up with your favorite girls and head to Morton's, where they will be hosting a cool cocktail party. The steakhouse is partnering with Banana Republic to put on a safari-themed fashion event with looks that would fit right into the film's desert scenes”.
1 Fourth idea is to have a pre-party out on the street of Manhattan of
“Lea Park Avenue. Admission is open. We'll also be giving away tickets to the MIDNIGHT PREMIER of Sex and the City that evening! So, you may need to order a shot of espresso with that Cosmo. Cover: $10 2 for 1 Cosmos: Obligatory. Dresscode: DIVA”
2 The fifth idea is having the actual party by hiring an events manager to make all your party needs fantastic and help to fund non-profit organization!
"Maria Ruiz has gotten a partner Swarovski in making the glamour pop. The party is really going to be saturated in crystal, starting with the pink carpet covered in thousands of dollars' worth of crystals. They’ll enjoy that Radio City is hosting the screening. All contribution is being made to the Fund for Public Schools.”
3 The sixth idea is to give away shoes that are featured in the film.
“Shoe girls in San Francisco are going to love this. KRON , a local TV Station, throwing a premiere party on Sunday 9/18 (12-4pm) in Union Square to announce that they will be airing Sex in the City on weeknights. And as part of the promotion they will be giving away a THOUSAND pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes.”
4 The seventh idea is to promote a party that would give away a free trip for two to the meet the cast members and stay in a hotel with glamour for 4 days by buying raffle tickets to help fund Cancer Institute. It will be held at The Palms Casino. The party will have a pink carpet and some music artists whose songs are featured in the film. It will be held four hours before the first showing of the movie. The eighth idea is to auction off the jewelry that the cast members wore on the first movie at an auction party and all the proceeds will go to help single parents with no jobs non-profit organization. You must dress like a diva to get in.
The ninth idea is to have a martini party at the Mix with some finger foods that are featured in the film and have music that are featured in the film. You have to be in your Diva dress, heels and hats to get in ladies. All ladies are free and men pay $30 to get in. A photographer will be there to take pictures on the pink carpet with some Swarovski crystal on it. The photos will be $50 each couple and/or $70 for three to five people. All the proceeds will go to a non-profit organization that help families get their homes paid off. The event will be held from 10pm to 2am on the day the movie comes out. There will be music from the film and martinis to purchase that were featured in the film. The event will be held from 4pm to 5pm, an hour before the first movie showing.

Bad Idea for a Product

Liverwurst chips is a bad idea. Having it as a snack sounds unappetizing. Chips is a snack. Liverwurst is a lunch tupe of product. So having liverwurst chips would be a lunch snack. After eating the chips your breath would smell terrible. Liverwurst is made as in a sandwich. It would sound wierd having liverwurst sandwich and liverwurst chips as a meal. I have seen people put chips in their sandwich and eat it like that. But very few people eat that kind of combination. If you want to try to put it out as a product on the shelf, it would not be noticed. And if it is noticed they would think it is a silly idea. People eat potato chips and it is a grain and so is the sandwich so they compliment each other in a way, because chips are salty and crunchy and the sandwich is less salty and soft. If it does become popular, it would probably just be a short lived fad. Chips are usually seasoned. Liverwurst is a meat not a seasoning. Liverwurst flavored chips sound so funny; I would give it to my friends as a joke not as a food. Even dipping it in seasoned dip sounds unappetizing to the stomach. Maybe Cookie Monster will eat it, but he would only chomp on it and all of it would fall on the floor. If you want to make something wierd and appetizing at least think of pizza chips. Most people eat pizza. So if they want pizza as a snack it would be good and have fewer calories. As you can see liverwurst should be left by itself and chips on its own. So please make the liverwurst count as a sandwich and chips as a snack. Thank you.

2009 Saturn Sky Roadster-Econmical and Sporty
The Saturn Sky 2009 Roadster is a great hit because of its economical use on gas, yet it has a neat sporty style as the body and safety as well. The alloy wheels make this a sweet slick car. It has an optional convertible to suit your weather needs as well as taste. I like the colors of Evening Blue, Ruby Red and Hydro Blue as your color options. Produced and made by General Motors, it’s no wonder that it surpasses the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster price wise and the
visibility when driving raises safety concerns.
(1) The Saturn has the safety on safety with airbags that deploy at different parts not to injure the driver and passengers.
It has a way of making the buck run with your dream sports car. The other Saturn models like the 2009 Aura and the 2008 Vue has it’s pluses with the save on gas type of engine but it needs some need for speed type to make this pure adrenaline. It needs some suave seats and low riding scream. I would feel good after spending less on a sports car than depleting my wallet for another brand. The
"turbocharge engine in the Red Line holds more power than the Pontiac Solstice.”
(2)
Just looking at the back makes me become astounded and has its
“173 horsepower”
engine. (3)
The silver lining throughout the body accentuates the curves beating the look of the
“Mazda MX-5 Miata’s”
(4)
simplistic look. I can see myself running up some techno music around town making my way to a nice restaurant or a party. With its
“260-hp turborcharged engine”
(5) and feeling the wind in my hair knowing I can spend some extra stash elsewhere. Saturn has a way of making the wheels turn so nicely without over aiming towards the lane. It is has a nice feel, look, appealing engine, and safety for everyone on board.

What is the difference between Advertising and Marketing

Advertising is based on one thing, happiness," said Don Draper in Mad Men episode.
(1)They focus on making the person happy temporarily. There is a drawing in advertising that makes people need what they want. If there is a need then they can draw on that to make you purchase their idea or product. Never mind the attitude when they see the advertising, the attitude in the advertising makes it more appealing and more needed. Marketing is about making the product work for you not the product work you. It makes the want become a need. When you buy a computer, you would need some Spam blocker, a printer, office software, game software, mouse, a keyboard and a computer screen. So that one item becomes more items to complete your pack.
“Customers don't always know what they want. The decline in coffee-drinking was due to the fact that most of the coffee people bought was stale and they weren't enjoying it. Once they tasted ours and experienced what we call "the third place".. a gathering place between home and work where they were treated with respect.. they found we were filling a need they didn't know they had,"
said Howard Shultz, founder of Starbuck coffee. It is a way to keep people happy with unexpected things they needed. It fulfills all the avenues that make life easier and faster to get done. It is the things that come with the product that makes it a lasting product and useful for the customer.
"The sole purpose of marketing is to sell more to more people, more often and at higher prices. There is no other reason to do it,”
said Sergio Zyman a Chief Marketing Officer of Coco-Cola. They do surveys and give samples to market their product. After their research, they come up with charts, graphs, and written research to understand their audience and produce the product they do not know they need. As for me, I need an Apple laptop but I want an Alien laptop because of the added features it has for graphics. I want to make my photos look like high definition type photos. If someone would come and sell me a product that has all the amenities with a good price, I would get it!(2)(3)

The Dollar Amount Should Be Up or Down in Value?

I think the American dollar should be weak because we are having too much over-seas factory out in foreign lands. We need to keep our products on American soil to keep things cheap and so our economic growth will increase rapidly. Many of our companies are relying on outsourcing to survive. I believe that outsourcing causes the economy to go down. We need to make more products within this country. Even though products are cheaper on foreign lands, it does not make it a better economy. The product has to be a valuable product and kept that way. That is why we get some bad products like the Lexus SUV saying that
“Toyota will recall the 2010 Lexus GX 460 to address a potential problem with the SUV rolling over.”
(1)The jobs are to be kept here and help Americans keep their jobs. There are so many getting laid off and given the pink slip that we are losing our value as Americans. We are to be valued in our jobs and kept in those jobs for the rest of our lives. It would make us better in the long run so later on we can do exporting. No more exporting or at least cut the exporting in half on all exports so that the economy builds better and faster. It will gain a lot of increase in value with our economy when we create new jobs like solar energy type business and electric powered cars. After the electric cars are made, then we can gradually withdraw efforts in getting oil in other countries.
“For the first time in about forever, a major OEM is taking orders on an all-electric passenger vehicle. Yes, Nissan is about ready to take your money in exchange for a purchase or a lease on the new Leaf, starting Tuesday.
”(2) Our country would also be greener and healthier and we as American will be healthier physically and economically.

Saturn Experience

My experience with Saturn was finally happening in good timing. I wanted a new car that was like my old car but I would be able to afford it and have some benefits with it. It would be my third car I was purchasing because I like their customer service and the product. I got the car that was brand new that year and had a pretty good gas mileage to it. The car turned out to have everything and more. It had a sun roof, leather seats, tinted windows, electronic controlled seats and windows, cruise control, control buttons on the steering wheel and cup holders everywhere. At the time the papers were being signed, he gave me extra warranty for my tires and still be able to afford the monthly payments. I was very happy with my purchase and drove around with it like it was my own for a while. Not until the next day they called me saying that they gave me a car that was already owned. He said,”I am sorry that I gave you the wrong car but we can give you a new one.” Well no wonder I saw scratches on the paint job. I went back after work and they offered me a dark blue Saturn. I still have all the benefits and it was newer. I was upset a bit because the car I had had all the bells and whistles I liked on it. The salesperson made sure that I was satisfied. “You won’t have to pay higher insurance and the blue car is brand new!” said the salesperson. “You’re right, I would be paying lower, “I said. I walked out of there with a smile on my face and assurance that I was taken care of. I was so glad that Saturn was taking ownership for what happened and made me a happier customer.

Walmart Experience at Walmart

My experience with Walmart was really bad. I would ask where a particular product was and no one even turned to look at me. I wanted to know where there is more or if there was more in stock. There was one finally turned and said we cannot help right now because we have other things to do and we may not have that in stock since we do not have it out here. I was livid. I cannot believe they would not take the small time to get the product or even tell the manager what we needed. I was like come on. I am not going to ask for any more help. They just stood there and continued doing their work even though they knew they should do something about it. I asked where their manager was. They said that she is busy and would not be able to help me. I mean the guts to just keep working even though they know they have it in stock or in the back somewhere. I wanted them to at least check if they had it in stock. I wanted to just walk out and find a different store even the stores that had the product locked up get the product I wanted. All I wanted was some time and some effort to show that they cared. I wanted to just make a big joke about it because I was so annoyed by the situation. I even wanted to find a store that may not have it at all usually and they would take the effort to order it or take my situation into consideration. Any store that take my situation into consideration would be rewarded for giving me my product and taking the effort to look up the product.

Photo Journalist's Life

I am a business photographer. I believe that pictures capture a story. There is a story behind every photo. I capture architectural photography, events, portrait, candid and landscape. "I like the way the color come out," said Bowmen. It was a photo of one of the chandeliers in Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas. There are pictures of portraits that help tell a story. The models taken are sometimes candid. “It brings out the personality,” said Sampsel. The moments are the best times I take photographs because those are the hardest to find. I am a spontaneous photographer that involves getting some chemistry to bring out the person. Events are times where I capture what it is meaning something to the reader. I choose to take photos where things seem to stick out and reduce them to greater detail. I like to experiment with my photo making them look off wall. Most of my work are architectural where I put emphasis on the structures to make them pop out. I like the live parts of the party. I crave action. “The fire looks clean and the shadow makes it stand out,” said Markmann. It was a photo of a Renaissance woman swinging fire on chains around her. Blurred action help keep me moving and taking pictures no matter how they come out. I know in the end they are going to be gorgeous after I fix them and manipulate them. There are times when I just go out and capture landscapes. I like the old Nevada. I grew up all my life in this city of Las Vegas. The outdoors have so much to offer so I like to give that to those who have not experienced that yet. Macro shots are most endeared when I go out doors. I like to capture nature at its closest. The more personal the more intriguing.
